- The evolution of artificial intelligence, particularly agent-based AI, is likely to disrupt this market, which is experiencing its first existential crisis. For now, most SaaS solution providers are trying to avoid this grim fate by introducing AI into their applications, but it won't be enough. - It lies in the notion of composability and what I have called Deep SaaS. I have already talked about composability, which is an approach that uses atomic software services and orchestrates them to provide the desired result rather than using an integrated suite.
This movement has been underway for several years and will only accelerate, thanks to agent-based AI. This will give rise to a new form of SaaS : "Deep SaaS". ([View Highlight](https://read.readwise.io/read/01jshherm6ddgmtrxk6w9n66w6))
- Note: More fuel for the [[composability]] fire.
