# A Real Pain ## Review Great performances from Kieran and Jesse that left me, in the moment, a little indifferent. I found myself coming back to David's restaurant monologue quite a bit after the fact. Thinking about how unremarkable we find our own pain, and how we wear that as a badge of courage. The more I sit with it, the more I can appreciate how moving that is. ### Thoughts & Themes --- Mismatched cousins reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother, but their old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.
