# Twisters ## Review They took a Glen Powell-sized shit on my childhood with this one. Maybe the first one was bad and campy ### Thoughts & Themes #### Country street smarts over science There was a bit of that in [[Twister]] for sure, but really prounounced in this film. The whole shtick of Tyler being some kind of meteorology-pilled stream god sticking it to the PhDs was really tiresome. #### So many people sucked off The first twister had a penultimate conflict where the mains were chained to a pipe and nearly sucked away. This film had like 25 people getting literally sucked up into tornados.
