summary: The party debated Vellynne Harpell’s advice to head directly to the glacier but instead opted to explore the remaining dungeon doors, discovering ominous dwarven poetry before common sense prevailed. Retracing their steps, they collected their monetary treasures, leaving behind the bulky stuff. The frozen journey back to the docks to call Angajuk was grueling, with biting winds and barren tundra testing their endurance. Struggling to summon the whale, they eventually set up camp, only for Angajuk to appear unexpectedly from Wally's attempt. Over a peaceful four-day voyage, downtime was spent tinkering, while Brosef caused mischief with his hat of vermin. Upon reaching the mainland, the party said farewell to Wally, leaving him to fish as they prepared for the next leg of their adventure.

## Session Log
### We're not dumb, you're dumb
[[Vellynne Harpell]] tries to convince us that following our encounter, we need (must, probably should?) move along to the mainland to seek the frozen gate. But of course, there are two doors in the dungeon we haven't explored, and [[Broski]] is in our party. We go to investigate. In the first dwarven on the door:
- In ice and blood, our folk are born.
To our great queen, we raise our horn.
We'll fight and plunder in the morn.
To Vassavicken, we are sworn.
Better sense prevails, and we head back up stairs. It's a slog. We collect our money treasures. We hmm and haw about taking the statue of Thrym and the dragon scale shield, ultimately leaving them.
### Back to the mothership
The frozen path stretched out before us, a brittle ribbon of ice winding through the barren tundra. Snow swirled in the biting wind, stinging our faces and forcing us to pull our cloaks tighter against the relentless cold. The landscape was stark and unforgiving—fields of unbroken white punctuated by jagged ice formations that caught the dim twilight like ghostly sentinels. We arrive at the
- [[Strath]] asks Wally how we call [[Angajuk]] the whale, he does not know
- [[Brosef]] attempts to persuade him to do it, he makes bell noises underwater but it's not clear if that works
- We ask [[Vellynne Harpell]] how to do it, she's no help either. So [[Brosef]] sets up Leomund's Tiny Hut
- [[Angajuk]] arrives! Now to pack the...er, whale. We devise a system to tow Wally along with us. We take a beautiful and peaceful four day tour
- [x] Rework infused items (downtime during journey with [[Angajuk]] ) ➕ 2025-01-13 ✅ 2025-01-27
- [[Brosef]] pulls out his hat of vermin and starts tossing bats around to troll people, hilarity ensues
- We arrive back on mainland and begin hitching back up to our sleds, we realize that land is no place for Wally and we encourage him to hang around and fish.
