We settle back in at the grove, start spending some downtime. - [[Strath]] offers the Dryad his troll heart, like a little house cat - [[Strath]] pulls out the nautiloid bits of metal to do an investigate with his metal monocle eye of minute seeing - [[Gray]] goes romancing the stone with Hathewin, as they're discussing she touches a tree and says "hide" - Gray sees two large eyes out of the darkness, instead of blinking as one, they blink separately. Medium sized creatures with spikes, and large glowing eyeballs. #### We do battle with some spikey boys - [[Strath]] Crit fail on a radiant smite, stuns hisself - We finally win and get a break. - [[Gray]] succeeds? in his seduction of Hathewin. [[Strath]] asks him how it was, but apparently clerics don't kiss and tell. - [[Strath]] advocates for going south - [[Galath]] does some nature checkin - It's a long ass tunnel, just FYI #### We discover Ytherin The tunnel opens into a vast grotto enclosed by gleaming ice. Consigned to this frozen sepulcher is a fantastic city sculpted by ancient magic and illuminated in a haunting way by green and purple lights that shed no warmth. The city is slightly tilted, its spires leaning away from you as though recoiling from your presence. You stand atop a causeway of frost-covered ice that stretches toward the city like the dead, frozen tongue of some hideous behemoth out of whose mouth you've just stepped. - We pause at the entry point to level up
